Our New Orleans Trip

Last year in September my lovely wife and I took an amazing vacation to New Orleans and one reason we were able to take that vacation was our ability to source cheap hotel rooms. But first let me tell you about our vacation before I tell you were we founds our rooms.

We left early on Thursday morning because it is an eight hour drive and we only wanted to do daytime driving because my wife doesn’t drive to well at night; she drove half way. She did great considering she have never driven that far before.  For us it is always better to drive in daytime especially when you are going somewhere you have never been before. New Orleans has always been a dream trip for me because my grandparents are from there and also my dad.  But the real reason I wanted to go was because of the food, creole and seafood are my favorite.

I have a few tips for you and it doesn’t matter where you are traveling. Always look for an inexpensive room because most of the time you will only be sleeping there anyway. And by the way, cheap doesn’t always mean low class or bad area; in most cases it means you got a great deal and most times you can save 30%-60% on average if you do your homework and plan in advance.

So I bet you want to know the most important part about our trip; how did we find such a good deal and where did we find it. If you can keep a secret I will tell you where. We found our amazing good deal on our room at ___________. I know you didn't think it would be that easy!!! If I told you I would take away your fun of finding your own great deal. The search is half the fun.
