Resident Evil On Demand

Thanks for the guest post by Ricky Ramos

I know, I know, this movie has recently been released on DVD. I could whip out the money to buy it and watch it as often as I want. However, I can't help myself. I just love the idea of having hot zombie buttkicking action at my fingertips. Generally speaking when I watch cable tv on demand movies I really only focus on horror movies like Resident Evil Afterlife. Yes, the settings are a bit overdone and this particular entry into the franchise was a bit overdone. However, it still features Alice kicking lots of zombie butt. The introduction of las plagas into! the worldline was interesting as well, but I felt the movie would have been better if they had left them out until the next iteration. It would have allowed for the characters to become more developed in the eyes of those who never once played a Resident Evil game.

Even with the minor issues I had with this movie, it is still easily my favorite currently available on demand. Because of that I have viewed it twice already and will probably pick it up one more time before I break down and buy the DVD. I can't help myself, really. Something about slender girls in tight clothes fighting the undead just makes me happy. I can't get enough of them battling zombies and trying to survive!
