Manual Labor

Now I remember why I became a manager. Today I cleaned out a stock room that we gave up for a bigger space six months ago. There was nothing in the room because it has been empty for that long, but the floors were extremely dirty. There were pieces of cardboard boxes that have been stuck to the floor, no telling how long it has been like that.

My work philosophy is never having anyone do something that you wouldn't do yourself, so I chose to do the task myself. I did this partly because of philosophy, payroll savings and lead by example attitude. I had to soak the floor first, scrub it for one hour, get all the water up and mop the floor. I think I picked the wrong task to show my philosophy. Needless to say, the task is done.

this is just one of the many reasons why I am so proud of you because you always know how to be a follower not just a leader. As a matter of fact, you are my living example. I actually mirror the way I handle stuff at work with you. What I mean is, I do stuff even if it is out of my designated position because like you I believe that no one will listen if you are only up to words and you don't prove yourself to them.

I want you to know Baby that I truly appreciate all your support for me for especially for my work. I know we miss each other a lot lately because of my crazy and busy schedule at work but I know that you know WHY I am doing this... this is for us, for our future and for our family. I want to be a part in reaping all our dreams. I know in due time, my schedule will be back to normal again....and I can't wait! Again, thank you, thank you for the support Baby. Thank you for always there to guide me and to lead me the way to achieve my dreams.... I LOVE YOU DEEPLY...
