Turn It On, Turn It Off

We recently purchased a new gas stove with 17,000 BTU's, this thing can boil water in 3 min. I love this stove. One day I came home and noticed I had two off my control levers were missing; did I mention I have a ten year old son. Needless to say he found himself on punishment for one week. I asked what he did with my leavers and he said he needed them for an art project. Kids, what are they thinking sometimes!!!

Kids are Different Now

I remember when kids were respectful, to their parents, teachers and elders in general. I remember when kids didn't talk unless spoken to. I remember when kids didn't talk back to their parents. I remember when kids were respectful; I think I already said that.

What happen to those days past. What happen to the kids of today and what will be the problems for kids of tomorrow. So what is the problem; is it the processed foods, is it the electronic gadgets that are everywhere or is it that kids have it so easy these days. Everything is readily given to kids now-a-days without the struggles of life.

To be completely honest I think kids have been given to many rights and freedoms. I think spanking is extremely underrated and life is lacking the consequences that it once had.   

The Love of Music

If you are a lover of music you will love the cheap fostex speakers. Not only because of their guaranteed low price point but they look great too. My brother has a birthday coming up in two months and this would be a great gift for him. My brother works out a lot and he would get great use of these and will probably use them at work too.

Health Care Reform Act-Good Luck

Look out everyone, here it comes exactly what you wanted. This is want you guys voted into office. Okay Okay not everyone, just the majority of you. I think it is about time that people stop and think about what they are voting for. Be careful what you wish for. So let me give you an idea about what's coming.

Picture this, you are a full time employee, happy with your job and supporting your family. You don't have a high paying job, but you are just getting by to make ends meet. Now here comes Obama care, health care for everyone. Just what you wanted or is it. Now because of the health care reform it is forcing companies to drastically reduce there full time staff to part time and only hire part time employees only.

Now what will this do to fabric of our nation? What will this do to how we provide for our families. If you now work one full time job and one part time job will you now be forced to work 3 part time jobs. When will you see your family?

Get Your Site Done

Lately I have been thinking of upgrading my site, you know new layout and new design. Like a lot of people out there this is not my area of expertise. To be perfectly honest I know nothing about it, but I did come across Boaz Saragossi who has done some really great work. If you are thinking about changing your site you should look at his work; he even does web and software development. 

New House Search

Looking for a new house is very exciting and stressful at the same time. There are so many factors that go into finding that perfect house. One of those factors is your attitude and knowing that there is no one perfect house and that compromises will have to be made along the way; compromises in floor plans, compromise with your spouse, compromise with options and with purchase budget. The very best advise I can give is to get pre-approved first before you do anything. And, if you are looking at new construction homes then you need to decide if you will be taking a real estate agent with you or negotiate on your own. By the way, the sales manager and sales assistant are not on your side when it comes to negotiations. My advise is to take an agent with you that represents you and your interests and best of all the builder pays the agents fee, not you.

What Ball Is this?

My wife has been on a serious workout regimen the last few months. At first I though it would be just a few weeks and she would quit. To my surprise the has been very serious about getting into bikini body shape for the summer. She has even started to do a boot camp style exercise and several times per week. In her class they use different exercise balls so I decided to surprise her with her very own thera band exercise ball that she can use at home. They come in different sizes and bright colorful colors. I gave it to her last week and she loves it.
